Sit & Stitch

Thursday – January 23 –  Serger Workshop

This meeting is a follow up to the previous Serger Workshop.  If you have a serger or are thinking of getting a serger and have questions — this workshop is for you.  The first workshop was very informative and helpful and here is your chance to learn more.  More info at the January meeting.  Workshop leader is Leta Richards.

Thursday – February 13 – Pay It ForwardWalkerbag

We will be making walker/wheelchair bags for the residents of Rose Estates to thank them for allowing us to use the Rose Estates community room for our Sit & Stitch meetings.  If you have taught a workshop, attended a workshop, or would like to help make these bags — Please Come!  New Members – this is a good time for you to join us to meet other members and participate in our Sit & Stitch meetings.

If you have a walker/wheelchair bag pattern you would like to use, please bring it.  Heavier fabrics such as upholstery, duck fabric, or quilted fabrics can be used.  If you would like to use cotton, perhaps interfacing would make it heavier for this use.  Have extra interfacing — Bring it!

We have had donations of fabric, so if you don’t have any fabrics you would like to use just come and we will put you to work.
